Emergi-Pet - Your local veterinary after hours, emergency vet clinic
Prior to arrival you may print and fill out our new client information sheet and see our financial policies and procedure hand out.
We do all of our billing through carecredit.  You may apply online and immediately obtain a decision through Carecredit.  If approved, please bring 2 forms of identification.
We recommend veterinarypartner.com for basic information.  This website is free and full of information about the most common diseases and answers are available to your most common questions.  Please be aware that we or your regular veterinarian may recommend treatment that is different from the recommendations on this web site, but this will give you a good starting point for most disease.
We also recommend you contact the ASPCA-Animal Poison Control Center for information regarding ingestion of toxins.  They are the organization we recommend concerning toxins or possible poisons and have the most complete database.  Please DO NOT contact human poison control as they do not have information about animal toxins.  There are several plants and substances that are not toxic to people, but are very toxic to animals. Their phone number is 1-888-426-4435. They do charge a fee for services.
Here is a link to the Tuscaloosa Veterinary Medical Association if you are looking for a regular veterinarian in a non emergency situation.
